Villa de Ponti rappresenta un esempio significativo di architettura barocca ​a Milano.
Si tratta di una tra le più antiche residenze della riviera lungo il naviglio Martesana, opera del celebre Leonardo da Vinci. Venne eretta come residenza di villeggiatura della curia ambrosiana nel XVII secolo.

The Villa is one of the most antique homes built on the riverside of the "Martesana", the milanese Canal engineered by Leonardo da Vinci. In the XVII century the Villa was originally erected as the summer home of the Ambrosian curia.

The historical garden is the result of years of passionate study of gardening and orthobotanics. The knowledge of the plants and the care given to the gardens develop spectacular flowering throughout the year, first and foremost the century-old white and violet wisteria.
